ACWA recognized the need for a watershed wide assessment and restoration plan for Anderson Creek. ACWA received a grant from the EPA's section 319 to complete this project. ACWA contracted the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy to complete the assessment and restoration plan. Multiple partners assisted with the data collection and report. Landowners in the watershed were also valuable partners and vital to the completion of the assessment.
The restoration plan provides a road map for the over all restoration of Anderson Creek, along with excellent background on the watershed. ACWA uses this document to make decisions on how and where to focus efforts for the greatest impact to Anderson Creek. The report is available for download below.
